Teach the Future SA signs Memorandum of Understanding with IFR

Teach the Future SA recently signed an MOU with the Institute for Futures Research at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.  According to this agreement, Teach the Future SA will be the Social Impact Partner for IFR and will be conducting Futures (Foresight) workshops in schools in SA and southern Africa.  It is wonderful to have this support and recognition for work being done in SA.

Society as a whole is impacted by tremendous change and uncertainty in the natural environment (driven by climate change), the political landscape and global economic conditions. These influences also challenge personal and institutional values. Our youth needs to understand these impacts, the role it plays in their lives, and still be assured that many alternative futures can unfold AND that they can steer their lives towards their desired future.

Not only do our Teach the Future TM South Africa workshops address this dilemma, but they are also aimed at addressing some of the skills needed to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

I attended the Circular Economy workshop at Zevenwacht and I am interested in getting involved with the organization. I recently completed my PGDIP in Futures studies. Please send me any information you may have.
